I’ve watched many of Ross’ videos on YouTube and found his teaching straight forward and easy to understand. Many others on YouTube are clearly knowledgeable, but don’t translate that very well for the novice. Ross’ teaching is much clearer. Then when he promoted this book, I kind of wondered, how can you learn blues guitar through a book, but I decided to give it a go. Man, was it worth it! I’m only up to chapter 5, but I’ve already had my eyes open to things I never would have thought of. Playing the blues is getting much more fun, and less frustrating. And I just read at the conclusion of chapter 4, “not to worry if you don’t recognize some chord tones, we are only just getting started.” By the end of this book I’ll being saying, “John Mayer, move over!” (LOL)
