Buy this book and master arpeggios!!!
I bought this book in part because of Don Mock’s previous books, which were all excellent! This book takes the cake as it is detailed and complete. It starts out with the basics and once you complete the book (okay, I looked at the end) you will have a mastery of arpeggios and their application on the fretboard and when improvising. Can’t recommend this book enough, one of the best instruction books on the market, peroid.

If you’re a serious student of guitar you’ll want this book!
Don Mock is one of the all-time great guitar educators. His books are a must-have for the serious student. It’s been quite a while since his last book and it’s a real treat to have this latest one! This is his second book that’s focused on arpeggios. I own both and of the two I would recommend this one because it goes more deeply into converting arpeggios into musical ideas.

I first met Don back in his early fusion days in Seattle. His music influenced me to attend GIT in 1979 and he was one of my favorite teachers there. Don Mock
Don Mock’s musical journey spans rock, blues, and jazz, culminating in a unique fusion style. Starting as a 60s rock enthusiast, he quickly became a respected guitarist and educator, known for his technical mastery and improvisational concepts, documented in numerous instructional materials. He was a key figure at the Guitar Institute of Technology (GIT), shaping its curriculum and producing videos featuring guitar legends.
Beyond performing and teaching, Mock directed and produced instructional videos for renowned artists, and composed music for hydroplane racing documentaries. He currently teaches at the Roberts Music Institute and performs as a guitar duo, continuing to influence guitarists with his diverse talents and extensive experience.
