Excellent value for money
I am right in his target audience. Trapped in the pentatonic level for years, and I wasn’t making any progress and didn’t really try and understand why. This course is excellent value for money and the audio and video for each example is included as downloads. Of course first thing I did was flip to the examples on the last chapter to see where I might end up. Really looking forward to progressing to that level of playing. Highly recommend.

Deep Dive Into The Blues
This book provides a serious look inside blues guitar. It’ll take you as deep as you want to go into the subject. I’ve so far gotten to Chapter 5. I’m taking my time as I don’t want to short-cut through any of this material. I’ve been pretty much a self-taught hobby guitarist for over 50 years and this book is tying in concepts that I have missed or glossed over in the past. Well under-priced for all of the information provided, in my opinion.

Best guitar instructional book in 40+years
I’ve been playing guitar for a long time. Played in bands, countless jam sessions, took guitar lessons from an excellent teacher for many years. However this is the first time that I have found the answer to how to choose the notes that elevate a solo from mundane to ear candy. Clear, thorough and detailed. You have to put in the work, but if you do it’ll be worth it.

Navigate the 12 bar blues progression
Ross is an accomplished player I have been following on his website lessons. If you are an intermediate player lost in how to connect triads, scales and arpeggios, this book tells you how to pull it altogether. This book is a great resource for a blues player taking the next step.

It helps you to go beyond the basics of blues and sound like you know what you’re doing. Ross is a good teacher and the material is laid out well. Do yourself a favor and buy a copy. I am glad I did.
