Manuel Gardner
Manuel Gardner Fernandes is a German guitarist, vocalist, producer, and the creative force behind Wiesbaden-based progressive metal band Unprocessed. He began playing guitar at the age of 3, initially inspired by Metallica and Megadeth, before expanding into fusion, jazz, soul, and funk. Known for a distinctive percussive style built on dead notes and hard strumming, Manuel has developed a uniquely modern approach that has earned him over 312,000 Instagram followers and 22 million YouTube views. He is particularly celebrated for his ability to execute technically demanding guitar passages while simultaneously singing lead vocals. In addition to his Unprocessed work — which blends metal, pop, jazz, hip-hop, and electronic elements — Manuel holds an Ibanez signature guitar (the MGFM10), works as a mixing and mastering engineer, and in 2024 released his first instructional book: Modern Electric Guitar Technique: Unlock Technical Mastery with 10 Cutting-Edge Solo Etudes.
