Chris Buck

Chris Buck is a Welsh guitarist who has become one of the most exciting voices in contemporary blues-rock. Known for his expressive playing, infectious personality, and hugely popular YouTube series Friday Fretworks — which has accumulated over 32 million views — Chris has earned endorsements with Fender, Yamaha, Ernie Ball, and Line 6. In 2012, Chris was invited onstage with Guns N''Roses, where Slash called him "a fucking awesome guitar player." He went on to be voted Best New Guitarist, Best Blues Guitarist, and Best Pop Guitarist in successive years by Guitarist Magazine readers. His band Cardinal Black debuted in 2022 and immediately topped the iTunes and Amazon album charts. Chris is widely regarded as a world-class teacher as well as performer, and his GuitarVivo books provide a structured, musical approach to blues and rock guitar for players at all levels.
