Ben Kerrigan
Ben Kerrigan is a guitarist, composer, and band leader currently based in Bristol, UK. A dedicated improviser and educator, Ben studied with fusion legend Frank Gambale and has spent years internalising the language of players like Scott Henderson, Guthrie Govan, and Allan Holdsworth. Ben leads his own trio, the Ben Kerrigan Trio, whose music blends jazz, funk, and fusion into something distinctly modern and melodically rich. His debut book Stepping Outside, published by GuitarVivo, focuses on creative sidestepping, chromatic phrasing, and breaking free from box-pattern soloing. An in-demand teacher and performer, Ben offers online guitar lessons and is known for his ability to make complex theory accessible and immediately musical for players of all levels.
