Chris Corcoran
Chris Corcoran is one of the UK's most celebrated guitarists in the jump blues and swing revival scene. Described by Blues in Britain magazine as an antidote to the blues/rock acts dominating the scene, Chris has spent over two decades performing across the British Isles and Europe with his trio and sextet. A multiple UK Blues Award nominee, Chris leads the Chris Corcoran Trio — featuring Matt Radford on double bass and Peter Greatorex on drums — performing repertoire rooted in the 40s and 50s, covering artists like T-Bone Walker and Bill Jennings. He has released three acclaimed albums: The Getaway (2010), Listen Up (2015), and Blues Guitar Grooves (2017). Chris is regularly featured in Guitarist Magazine and Guitar Techniques Magazine. He also runs guitar workshops and works as a registered composer for Felt Music in London.
